Serenity Prayer for Agnostics, Atheists, and the Faithless v0.1

I have always felt that the Serenity Prayer (probably first written by Reinhold Niebuhr) was a beautiful and powerful meditation on life.

But I am an Atheist/Agnostic.  I do not believe in god, but I have come to believe in the power of Faith and the Rituals associated with it.  I see it as a powerful tool that has been used by many for both good and bad but mainly to improve ones life.

But I do not have Faith and will not pretend that I do.  I wanted a Serenity Prayer for someone like me.  This is my version, tell me what you think?

I will strive to
Accept with Serenity the things that cannot be changed,
the Courage to change the things which should be changed, and
the Wisdom to distinguish the one from the other.

I will strive to
Live one day at a time,
Enjoy one moment at a time,
Accept hardship as a pathway to growth, strength, and leading to peace and joy.

I will take
this world both good and bad as it is,
not as I would have it.

Over the centuries the world has become a better place, and
I have faith that it will continue to do so far into the future.
